Le French May

Le French May has matured into one of the largest French arts festivals in Asia, staging more than 120 events in just two months, from exhibitions to performances, from film screenings to food festival.

This year, under the theme ‘Essentially French’, the Festival will explore the specificity of French culture and creation from the 16th century to contemporary times.

Since its humble kick-off in 1976 as a vehicle to boost rugby's presence in Asia, the Hong Kong Rugby Sevens has grown into one of the biggest rugby events on the international sporting calendar. Every March, teams from the world's top rugby nations complete in lightning-fast 15-minute matches in front of 40,000 spectators. And the action at Hong Kong Stadium is merely the epicenter of what morphs into a carnival that inflects the whole city.
